I’ve had a presence on the internet via the KopTalk website for around 11 years now. During that time I have made many, many friends but sadly, also some enemies. When you moderate online communities and are responsible for high profile websites, you can attract unwanted attention. It comes with the job but to people who aren’t really clued up on website rivalries and politics between similar websites, it can be a bit confusing.
You may have seen some negative stuff published about me on the internet. Fortunately I am happy to confirm that those responsible for smearing my name are associated to websites that rival KopTalk and are mainly former (banned) members of the KopTalk website. They don’t concern me, it comes with the territory, but if you ever see someone online claiming to be me, simply visit DuncanOldham.com and make contact with me direct to check.
Those of you that know me, know that I am a proud father of two who likes nothing more than a laugh. I admit that I do publish controversial articles from time-to-time but that is always to gain attention and to create debate in relation to the particular subject field. Sadly some people don’t realise that it’s my job to do just that. I have had huge success with KopTalk and although I have plenty of haters out there, for every one of them, there are a hundred supporters who appreciate the KopTalk website and the work that I do.
